Assists manager in supervising and coordinating activities of the restaurants. Responsible for the efficiency, sanitation, service, food quality, guest satisfaction, safety, and profitability of this operation by maintaining the physical property according to code. Assists in managing the restaurant's operations in compliance with established policies and procedures. Helps management in developing, interpreting, and implementing policies and procedures for performing required functions. Ensures proper training of staff, prepares related reports, and audits current procedures for improved efficiency.

Essential Functions:
- Assists manager in supervising and coordinating activities of assigned restaurant personnel to insure guest comfort and service standards.
- Maintain and supervise the safety of guests and employees.Provides guidance in the resolution of routine situations.
- Creates permanent solution to guest complaints.
- Uses opening and closing check lists on assigned day.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned by the Restaurant Manager or Director
Requirements
- Have a thorough knowledge of Department of Health and OSHA rules and regulations governing food
service operations. - Be in good health and have a full range of physical mobility to fulfill the physical demands of this position.
- Able to speak, read and write fluent English. Fluency in a foreign language is desirable but not required.
- Have basic computer skills and be familiar with the software programs used at the Polynesian Cultural
Center.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Have a high school diploma or the equivalent with one year of restaurant work experience at a supervisor
level.

Salary : $21 - $23
