Position Description:

· Know and comply with state and local transportation safety regulations and company safety policies

· Perform all pre-trip responsibilities to include: checking route numbers and account numbers for assigned deliveries, count items and check customer invoices of products that have been loaded, perform "pre-trip safety check" inspection of truck

· Drive to and deliver customer orders according to a predetermined route and plan routes based on best travel time possible while meeting customer expectations

· Unload products from the truck and place them in designated customer storage areas

· Verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures. Collect money (checks for prepay customers) where required. Contact management for authorization when discrepancies on invoice and communicate all errors/returns

· Perform all post-trip responsibilities to include: unload damaged goods and customer returns and complete necessary paperwork; turn in all funds collected daily; perform safety check on the vehicle, company vehicle maintenance reports and reconcile with appropriate company representative as required

· Demonstrate strong customer satisfaction by providing unmatched quality and service

· Work effectively with others in a team based environment to accomplish company goals and identify and resolve customer issues

· Perform other tasks as requested by customers, supervisor and fellow team members including but not limited to: pulling orders to be delivered, shipping & receiving tasks, order fulfillment etc.

Position Requirements:

· HS diploma or GED preferred

·26' Non-CDL Box Truck experience

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis; up to 75 lbs occasionally

· Follow all safety procedures

· Valid driver’s license

· Ability to safely operate a forklift

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must pass a background investigation as part of the selection process
• Must pass the drug test as part of the selection process
• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
