QA Engineer

Polymer Capital Management is a market-neutral, multi-manager investment platform focused on Asia. Our goal is to discover and nurture the region's top investment talent by combining established institutional support with extensive local financial market knowledge. We were founded in partnership with PAG, one of the world's largest Asia-focused alternative asset managers, and we have been operational since 2019.

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our hedge fund systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with the development team to deliver high-quality software solutions for our clients in the financial industry.

• Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate hedge fund systems.

• Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure system stability and accuracy.

• Identify, document, and track software defects through thorough testing procedures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and ensure that quality standards are met.
• Develop automated testing scripts to streamline testing processes and increase efficiency.
• Participate in the review of system requirements, design documentation, and user stories.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, testing tools, and technologies to enhance quality assurance processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in quality assurance roles, preferably within the financial services industry or hedge funds.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, or similar).
• Familiarity with databases, SQL queries, and data validation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements in the financial sector.
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and distributed systems.
• Certification in software quality assurance (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
