Polo Salon & Spa – Middletown, RI
Polo Salon & Spa is looking for a friendly, dependable, and professional part-time Salon Assistant to join our team 2–3 days per week.
This is a great fit for someone looking for part-time daytime hours, someone who enjoys staying active and social, or simply someone looking for a fun job in a welcoming salon environment.
The position includes a combination of front-desk responsibilities and general salon support.
- Greeting and assisting clients
- Answering phones, texts, and client messages
- Scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling appointments
- Managing appointments through Square
- Client checkout and retail transactions
- Confirming appointments and assisting with rebooking
- Maintaining towels and capes, including washing, drying, folding, and restocking
- Restocking salon supplies and products
- Monitoring basic inventory
- Keeping the reception area and common salon areas neat and organized
- Assisting with general day-to-day salon duties as needed
We’re looking for someone who is dependable, punctual, organized, personable, comfortable multitasking, and willing to take initiative.
Experience with Square POS/Square Appointments is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Salon or customer-service experience is a plus, but reliability, professionalism, and a great attitude are just as important.
