Job Summary:
The Meat Cutter is responsible for preparing, cutting, trimming, and packaging meat products to customer specifications while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and sanitation. This role ensures that meat cases are well-stocked, attractively displayed, and compliant with all health regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cut, trim, bone, tie, and grind meats such as beef, pork, poultry, and seafood.
- Prepare and package meat products for display in service and self-serve cases.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work area, including tools and equipment.
- Monitor product freshness and rotate stock to minimize waste.
- Ensure accurate pricing, labeling, and signage for all meat items.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and occupational safety procedures.
- Provide friendly and knowledgeable service to customers; take special orders or custom cuts as requested.
- Assist with inventory, receiving, and storage of meat products.

Qualifications:
