The Human Resources Manager, Field Operations will act as a trusted strategic HR partner to Operations Leaders to support the organization in achieving its business objectives. The person in this role is accountable for all HR-related needs for field operations, offering expert guidance on HR matters, fostering a thriving work environment and ensuring positive employee experience.
The position includes but is not limited to the key responsibilities below:
- Responsible for the day-to-day field HR Operations (restaurant level), supporting employee relations and partnering with managers to build a positive work culture.
- Build and maintain strong business relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
- Lead a team of HR field professionals to deliver value-added support to employees and management and to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Utilize deep knowledge of HR practices, employment law and industry trends to ensure compliance and mitigate risks. Resolve employee relations issues, conduct effective investigations when needed and provide guidance to employees and management.
- Anticipate future HR needs and proactively address them to support the company’s growth and success.
- Review and analyze people experience data and KPIs to guide decision making and recommend improvements.
- Maintain proactive communication with Operations Leaders to share learnings, talent needs and develop integrated solutions.
- Work closely with other HR team members to provide effective support and experience throughout the full employee lifecycle, from hiring to development, to offboarding.
- Drive performance management by coaching leaders on feedback practices, accountability measures and promoting high-impact development conversations.
- Work closely with Operations Leaders, Talent Management and Training teams on workforce management, through forecasting and planning talent pipelines and executing developing programs.
- Champion company culture through the facilitation of engagement initiatives, recognition efforts and events.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources Management or related field. Master’s degree or HR certifications a plus.
- 7 years of progressive HR experience, as HRBP, HR Management or generalist role.
- 2 years of supervisory/management experience.
- Prior experience in multi-unit restaurant or retail industry.
- Prior experience in high-growth business is highly desired.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and multi-state employment laws.
- Ability to influence and coach leaders at all levels.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills, as well as strong analytical and project management capabilities.
- Comfortable handling sensitive issues with professionalism and discretion.
- Attention to detail and focus on executing projects with excellence.
- Self-starter, ability to work independently, as well as an active member of a cross-functional project team and HR team.
- Bilingual (English-Spanish).
- Availability to travel up to 50% of the time.
