What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher Qualified Daycare Professional position at Polliwogs Child Care?

*Our teachers are responsible for:
- Creating a warm and stimulating environment filled with different experiences for babies to explore and learn that is consistent with the center’s policies and philosophy
- Keeping the classroom in compliance with all DCFS regulations
- Communicating with parents, as partners, to support, guide and share in their child's growth and development
- Keeping record of each child's daily activities
- Staying current with all licensing and company requirements for their own personnel file
The perfect candidate for our team will have:
- A CDA Certification or an associate's degree in Early Education or related field
- Experience working in a classroom with infants, toddlers, or preschoolers
- The ability to get on the floor and play with children as well as lift up to 45 lbs.
- A sensitive, mature demeanor and the ability to relate well to both children and adults.
