Position Summary
Pollak Distributors is hiring a dependable Warehouse Cleaner & Stocker to keep our distribution facility clean, organized, safe, and fully stocked. In this dual-function role, you will be responsible for maintaining facility hygiene standards (both on the warehouse floor and in common areas) while assisting with inventory replenishing, product placement, and order readiness.

Core Responsibilities
Facility Sanitation & Upkeep
Floor & Aisles: Sweep, mop, and operate floor scrubbers across main warehouse aisles, packing zones, and loading docks.
Waste & Recycling: Empty trash receptacles, collect scrap materials, and operate cardboard balers/shredders to manage waste efficiently.
Common Areas: Clean and sanitize high-traffic zones including breakrooms, restrooms, and main walkways.
Safety & Hazard Response: Clean up spills, remove debris from walkways immediately, and ensure emergency exits and safety equipment remain clear.
Stocking & Inventory Support
Replenishment: Transfer stock from receiving areas to primary racking and picking slots using pallet jacks and hand trucks.
Product Sorting: Unpack, organize, and neatly arrange product cases to maintain a clear and efficient picking path.
Face & Rotate: Rotate inventory (FIFO – First-In, First-Out) to ensure older stock is placed up front.
Damage Checks: Report broken cases, missing labels, or leaking packaging to the Inventory Specialist or Supervisor.
Required Qualifications
Experience: Previous experience in warehouse cleaning, janitorial work, or stock replenishment is a plus, but entry-level candidates willing to learn are encouraged to apply!
Physical Stamina: Comfortable walking, standing, bending, stretching, and lifting up to [e.g., 50 lbs] throughout a shift.
Detail-Oriented: A eye for cleanliness, organization, and basic safety hazards.
Reliability: Strong work ethic, consistent attendance, and the ability to work independently after initial training.
Equipment: Willingness to learn basic equipment operations (sweepers, manual/electric pallet jacks, balers).
