POSITION SUMMARY
Lift Watch Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor and oversee the safe operation of lifts and elevated platforms
- Maintain constant visual awareness of lift movements and surrounding hazards
- Communicate clearly with lift operators and ground personnel
- Ensure work areas remain clear of obstructions, pedestrians and equipment
- Verify that lift operations comply with site safety plans and permits
- Stop working immediately if unsafe conditions are observed
- Never leave the lift operation unattended while in progress
- Assist with basic site safety and housekeeping as needed
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Skills & Competencies
- Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines
- Attentive to detail and alert at all times to ensure safety
- Able to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers
Qualifications
- Must have a High school diploma
- Valid Drivers License required
- Ability to safely operate various vehicles and equipment
- Previous experience, especially in mechanical construction industry, and Safety (i.e. OSHA) certifications are a plus!
