The Polk County Highway Department has seasonal/summer positions opening in the Maintenance subdivision. Eligible applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, be 18 years of age or older as of June 1, 2026, and moderate experience in highway maintenance and/or construction labor work environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have a valid driver's license and safe driving record. The starting wages for these positions range from $20.04/hr. to $25.55/hr., DOE, position grade, and work assignment.
