ABOUT THE JOB
Polk County has a regular, full-time position available for a mental health associate (QMHA) working on the Mobile Crisis Intervention Services team. This position will staff the walk-in Crisis Clinic in Dallas as well as provide mobile response in the community as part of a team of two.

Crisis response services are committed to providing timely, trauma- informed support to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. You will coordinate with fellow first responders such as local law enforcement, EMS and other system resources to create a plan to support the safety and well being of the individual in need as well as assisting individuals and their families to create a plan for referral and stabilization.

WORK LOCATION
This position’s assigned work location is located at our CARES Center located in Dallas.

WORK SCHEDULE
Working hours and shifts fall between the hours of 7:30 am-7:30 pm Monday through Sunday depending on Departmental needs. Shift will include Saturday and Sunday. Required to perform rotational, on-call services between the hours of 6:30pm-7:30am.

ADDITIONAL BENEFITS
This position is eligible for an additional 4% differential in addition to starting salary.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent and three years of responsible and relevant professional experience; OR any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills and knowledge to perform the essential functions of the job.

REQUIRED SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS
*Must possess Qualified Mental Health Associate certification, provided through the Mental Health and Addiction Certification Board of Oregon at the time of appointment.
*Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance as a condition of employment.

Polk County is located in the Willamette Valley just an hour from the Pacific Coast to the west and an hour from Portland to the north. Salary : $57,168 - $72,348
