Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable Part-Time Security Officer to control traffic entering and exiting a private property. The officer will be responsible for monitoring access, ensuring safety on the premises, and communicating effectively with staff using a two-way radio. Candidates must be able to speak and understand proper English, follow instructions, and maintain a professional and alert presence at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Check in and check out residents and staff entering or exiting the property.
- Monitor and control access at the front gate.
- Receive and log deliveries brought through the front gate.
- Communicate clearly and professionally using a two-way radio.
- Ensure all visitors follow property rules and security procedures.
Experience
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems and loss prevention techniques is preferred.
- Strong observational skills with an eye for detail to identify suspicious activity or safety hazards.

NOTE:
- This position is part-time and limited to three days per week with the option to pick up shifts.
- Workdays are Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

- Pay rate is $15 per hour.
- Performance and attendance are strictly enforced at Polite Security.
