- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial and residential spaces, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal
- Use specialized equipment for floor care such as buffing machines and carpet cleaners to maintain pristine surfaces
- Conduct custodial duties like restroom sanitation, window cleaning, and surface disinfection to uphold health standards
- Assist with light maintenance tasks including minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and facility upkeep as needed
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a secure work environment
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any supply needs or equipment issues promptly
- Support industrial cleaning projects or porter duties that require attention to detail and efficiency
Requirements
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred; familiarity with commercial or industrial cleaning is a plus
- Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet extraction
- Experience with facilities maintenance or residential painting is advantageous
