Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team. This is an AFTER-HOURS, PART-TIME position servicing a government facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness at the Lithonia facility, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning tasks in assigned areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and efficiently.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, such as deep cleaning or post-event clean-up.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when stock is low.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Ability to work TUESDAY through FRIDAY in the EVENING after 6:30 PM, SATURDAY after 12 NOON
- Must PASS a criminal background check
- Willingness to work under Live 24/7 Camera Survelliance
- Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good physical stamina; ability to lift and move items as needed.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
- A valid driver’s license may be required for positions that involve travel between locations.
Compensation
Payments will be made on a MONTHLY basis.
