We’re looking for a Part-Time Assistant Store Manager who is organized, self-motivated, and excited to take ownership within a growing small business. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic retail environment, enjoys working independently, and wants to be part of something meaningful.
What You'll Do
This role is a blend of sales leadership, daily operations, and in-store experience support:
- Lead the floor during shifts—ensuring a warm, welcoming, and elevated customer experience
- Support daily store operations including opening/closing, merchandising, restocking, and organization
- Assist customers thoughtfully—offering product recommendations, gift guidance, and styling help
- Help drive sales through genuine connection (not pushy selling)
- Maintain visual standards—steaming, organizing, and keeping the store polished at all times
- Support in-store events and Craft Bar experiences (including birthday parties and private events)
- Assist with inventory management and Shopify POS operations
- Problem-solve in real time and make confident, independent decisions when needed
- Act as a reliable point of contact when the owner is not present

- You have retail experience and feel confident running a store environment
- You are highly organized and naturally notice what needs to be done
- You are a self-starter who doesn’t wait to be told what to do
- You’re comfortable working independently and making decisions
- You’re a people person—warm, approachable, and intuitive with customers
- You take pride in your work and care about the details
- You’re flexible and dependable, with the ability to adapt when needed
Availability
- 20-25 hours per week
- Weekend availability is required (not every weekend, but consistent flexibility is important)
- Occasional flexibility for schedule adjustments or events (we plan ahead, but retail can be dynamic)
