Hours: Mon-Thurs 8:30-5:30 with 1 hour lunch, 8:30-3 Fri, no weekends!

About the Role:
We're looking for a motivated and experienced Treatment Coordinator who can serve as a critical link between clinical care and the patient experience. You’ll support patients by clearly explaining treatment options, helping them understand their insurance coverage, and making them feel confident in their care plan. This role is ideal for someone who combines professionalism with empathy and can communicate complex information in a patient-friendly way.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with dentists and hygienists to understand recommended treatment plans
- Verify patient's insurance prior to every appointment
- Present treatment plans to patients and answer related questions
- Educate patients on procedures, expected outcomes, and timelines
- Discuss financial options, insurance benefits, and out-of-pocket costs
- Assist patient in applying for 3rd party financial services to cover costs of dental treatments
- Submit insurance pre-authorizations and help resolve insurance issues
- Follow up with patients who are pending treatment to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records using dental software
- Support front desk operations as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- 2 years of experience in a dental office, trained in insurance verification and treatment coordination
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Familiarity with dental insurance plans and billing processes
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build rapport and trust with patients
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in follow-ups
- Experience with dental practice management software preferred (e.g., Dentrix Ascend)
