Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their food orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food preparation activities.
- Manage customer transactions by processing cash, credit card, and retail sales transactions with precision and speed.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through effective suggestive selling techniques.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace by adhering to sanitation, food safety, and cleanliness standards; including bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces regularly.
- Handle food service customer order management with professionalism, ensuring timely delivery of orders and addressing guest inquiries promptly.
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and ingredients, notifying management of stock needs to ensure seamless service.
- Support food safety management practices by following proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Assist in operating POS systems like Aloha or Micros for accurate cash handling and record keeping.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quick service or fast-food restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability in food preparation, serving, cashiering, and food safety management.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude.
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain sanitation standards diligently.
- Retail sales experience or grocery store experience is a plus but not required.
