Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to increase sales and guest satisfaction
- Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor alcohol consumption to ensure responsible service
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service during busy hours or special events like banquets and catering functions
- Uphold all food handling, safety regulations, and responsible alcohol service policies at all times
Experience
- Seasoned bartenders or those seeking experience welcome.
- Familiarity or willingness to lear POS systems
- Basic knowledge of beverage recipe development, spirits, wine varieties, and beers suggested.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during high-volume service periods while maintaining quality standards
- Previous food service experience including serving, cashiering, and food handling is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with an energetic approach to engaging guests and creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Experience working in fast-paced environments is a plus
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding for inventory management, and food safety certification are preferred
