Hazard Identification & Control: Routinely inspect job sites or facilities to spot unsafe conditions (such as fall risks, unguarded machinery, or electrical issues) and take steps to fix them.
- Standard Enforcement: Make sure crew members follow federal OSHA standards (such as 29 CFR 1926 for construction or 29 CFR 1910 for general industry) and company safety rules.
- Safety Communication & Training: Lead daily tool-box talks, orient new workers on site-specific hazards, and ensure everyone understands emergency action plans.
- Incident & Near-Miss Investigation: Assist in tracking, reporting, and investigating workplace injuries, illnesses, or close calls to find root causes and prevent repeats.
- PPE Management: Confirm that workers have, wear, and properly maintain required personal protective equipment.
