What are the responsibilities and job description for the FOUNDING REFORMER PILATES INSTRUCTORS position at Polestar Pilates GCC?
The Reformer Garage | Fredericksburg, Texas
$75 per class (Plus administrative time paid separately) | Flexible, Collaborative Scheduling | 1099 Contractor Opening Early December 2026
The Reformer Garage is looking for two experienced Reformer Pilates instructors to join our studio as Founding Instructors as we prepare to open our doors in early December.
We’re building our instructor team from the ground up, are looking for instructors who are excited about getting in on the ground floor of something new and helping us shape The Reformer Garage from the very beginning.
THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Founding Instructor, you’ll have a unique opportunity to help shape our class schedule from day one.
Our Founding Instructors will work directly with us to create consistent teaching blocks that work well for both the instructor and the studio.
Our goal is to create a schedule that is reliable for our members, sustainable for our instructors, and allows you to establish consistent class times that truly feel like your classes.
With our early December opening approaching, we’d like to bring our Founding Instructors on before launch so we have time to get to know one another, plan our initial schedule, and make sure everyone feels comfortable and ready before we welcome our first members.
As membership grows, our Founding Instructors will have opportunities to expand their schedules and take on additional classes based on availability and demand.
About The Reformer Garage
The Reformer Garage is a boutique Reformer Pilates studio located in Fredericksburg, Texas.
We are part of a larger, locally owned fitness facility that also includes a full gym and private personal trainers. Being part of a larger fitness community gives our Pilates instructors opportunities to connect with clients who are already invested in movement, strength, wellness, and personal training while still allowing The Reformer Garage to have its own identity and community.
Our studio is being designed to feel welcoming, beautiful, energetic, and personal. We want clients to know their instructors and instructors to genuinely know the people walking into their classes.
We’re a husband-and-wife-owned business, and we’re genuinely excited about what we’re building.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re hoping to find instructors who:
If you’ve ever thought it would be fun to get in on the ground floor of a new studio, build relationships with members from day one, establish classes that become your classes, and help create the kind of Pilates community you’d want to be part of, we’d really love to hear from you.
