Job Summary:
Polestar Bellevue, a member of the O’Brien Auto Group, is currently looking for an effective, independent, and efficient Service & Parts Advisor to fill a vacant position within the team. The Parts & Service Advisor position will oversee parts while assisting our customers on the Service Drive. Our goal to make a positive place for our guest to come and have their vehicle maintained. We are looking for the right person to help make our guest experience as positive as possible.
This position is $25.00 - $30.00 per hour (BASED OF DEALERSHIP EXPERIENCE).

What you will do
Polestar Bellevue is currently looking for an effective, independent, and efficient Service & Parts Advisor to fill a vacant position within the team. The Parts & Service Advisor position will oversee parts department while assisting our customers on the Service Drive.
The Service Advisor Role
- Assist Customers as the advisor to
- Greet guests, determine their needs, and coordinate vehicle repairs
- Meet guests’ needs throughout the entire service process
- Write Repair Orders, coordinate check-in and delivery processes, build and communicate repair estimates, follow-up on the progress of repairs, and update guests regarding their service repairs
- Contact guests regarding any changes in the estimate or promise time, explain cost and time requirements in detail, and obtain proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed
- Advise guests on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers’ specifications, using maintenance menus
Other duties as assigned
The Parts Advisor Role
- Order inventory and special-order parts for repairs
- Receive parts orders and stock them efficiently in designated storage area or assigned bins
- Generates parts estimates for customers, insurance companies
- Stay up to date on latest part revision changes
- Organize and oversee parts
- Interpret and understand automotive terminology, enabling accurate and efficient part searches within the catalog allowing for precise parts ordering

What you need to bring to the table:
- Commitment to excellent guest experience – on the phone/email, in the store, and after purchase
- 1-year of previous Dealership experience (preferred but not required)
Equipment/Machines/Tools Typically Used: Phone, computer, adding machine, copier, calculator, stapler, fax machine, pencils/pens, letter opener, scissors, rulers, measuring tools, and hand tools.
Chemicals: Numerous chemicals are used/handled on a limited basis. Employees will be trained by their supervisor on the safe handling/use of these substances. Employee will follow all safety directives at all times.
Physical Demands: Intermittent standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, and crouching; lifting of 20lbs or less on a frequent basis and carrying of 10lbs or less on a frequent basis; frequent pushing and pulling, twisting, and turning of trunk, reaching and handling of objects; occasional climbing, balancing and crawling
Qualified candidates must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and the ability to pass a background check.
