Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Education Teacher to foster a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. This role involves designing age-appropriate lesson plans, implementing educational activities, and supporting the social and emotional growth of students. The teacher will collaborate with parents, staff, and specialists to ensure each child's developmental needs are met, promoting a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
- Create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and developmental stages, including toddlers and preschoolers.
- Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies to foster a respectful and productive learning environment.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor student progress and inform instructional strategies.
- Facilitate activities that promote social-emotional development, communication skills, and child welfare.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, attendance, and developmental milestones.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address individual needs.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed to maintain a secure classroom environment at all times.
- Participate in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, classroom management, and educational best practices.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management.
- Experience with special education, early intervention programs, or Montessori teaching methods is advantageous.
- Familiarity with childhood development theories, behavior management techniques, and literacy education strategies.
- Proven ability to work effectively with students of varying ages including toddlers and preschoolers.
- Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.

Pay: $13.50 - $19.00 per hour
