Ii. Responsibilities
- Welds a range of metals including but not limited to mild steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, copper, brass, die cast, chrome metal
- Aware of safety regulations and must wear protective equipment to minimize heat and noise levels, and to guard against corrosive chemicals
- Ability to read Blueprints and weld maps preferred
- Ability to have all welds pass with QA/QC approval
- Proper placement of stencils
- Ability to follow all the Fabrication guidelines
- Pass a Weld Qualification Test
- Provide your own personal tool in a lockable toolbox
- Available for short - term travel
- High School Education or equivalent
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Ability to lift, carry or otherwise move and position objects and materials weighing up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk or otherwise move around on a continuous basis
