Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Project Engineer located in Lake Charles, LA. The Project Engineer will oversee and coordinate engineering projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities include project planning, monitoring project progress, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The role also includes collaborating with cross-functional teams, addressing project challenges, and ensuring deliverables meet timelines and specifications.
Qualifications
- Strong Project Management and Project Planning skills, including the ability to oversee schedules, budgets, and deliverables
- Experience in Project Engineering, including familiarity with design processes and resource coordination
- Knowledge and expertise in Electrical Engineering principles and applications relevant to heavy industries
- Excellent Communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders
- Problem-solving mindset and the ability to work well under pressure
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
- Previous experience in engineering or construction project environments is a plus
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
