What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Shop Production Coordinator position at Polaris Engineering & Manufacturing?
Our company is looking for an experienced Machine Shop Production Coordinator to oversee the daily flow of work throughout our CNC machine shop. This role is responsible for keeping jobs moving efficiently from start to finish by coordinating priorities, identifying bottlenecks, and ensuring work progresses through every stage of production.
This is not an employee management position. Instead, you'll work closely with programmers, machinists, inspection, purchasing, and shipping to remove obstacles, communicate priorities, and help ensure projects are completed on time while maintaining the highest quality standards.
If you have a strong machining background, enjoy solving problems, and excel at organizing production in a fast-paced job shop, we'd love to hear from you.

- Assist with production scheduling and help balance machine capacity and workload.
- Support continuous improvement efforts to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Maintain a visible presence on the shop floor, proactively identifying issues and helping keep production on schedule.
