Role Description
This is a remote, contract role for a Legal Nurse Consultant. The successful candidate will analyze medical records, construct detailed case chronologies, evaluate nursing and medical standards of care, and provide insights to assist legal teams in medical-related litigation. Responsibilities also include identifying pertinent medical issues, preparing medical terminology summaries, and supporting attorneys throughout the litigation process.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Legal Nurse Consulting, including medical record analysis and litigation support
- Comprehensive knowledge of Medical Records and Medical Terminology
- Strong background in Nursing and Medicine with relevant professional experience
- Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in using medical and legal documentation tools
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and meet deadlines
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Previous experience in legal consulting or related fields is considered an advantage
