What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mover/Driver position at Polar Moving Company?
PAY RATE NEGOTIABLE WITH SUFFICIENT MOVING EXPERIENCE
Basic Job Function:
Be the Driver/Crew Leader on the job. Be able to manage/ delegate work. Drive safely. Load/unload the truck.
Position Outline:
Must have strong work ethic and dedication to great Customer service.
Satisfying the Customer on each job.
Responsible for quality standards being met.
Packing and unpacking of shipments.
Assists with loading and unloading of trucks.
Assists with paperwork.
Must be able to carry 50-100 lbs. alone up to 400 lbs. in a team carry.
Must be able to carry furniture up and down stairs.
Assists with loading trucks for density and safety.
Work on commercial office moves.
Warehouse work will be assigned as needed.
Must be able to walk, lift and carry 6-10 hours per day.
Position Requirements:
Minimum Job Qualifications Require:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
Other Minimum requirements: Basic literacy and math skills. Good communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
