The Role
Lead day-to-day operations at Raven Camp. You'll manage people, safety, flights, and facilities to keep this critical Arctic field site running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee camp operations, maintenance, and staff supervision
Manage flight support and daily coordination with the Air National Guard 109th (training missions, Arctic survival, night flying)
Conduct snow grooming; plan put-in/pull-out missions; orient all new arrivals
Handle cargo, resupply, documentation, and camp logs
Pitch in on camp support (cooking, equipment operation, construction, winterization)
What You'll Bring
5 years relevant experience or a bachelor's with equivalent experience
2 years of supervisory experience; remote field experience
Wilderness First Responder (WFR)
Ability to lead and work in isolated, extreme environments; adaptable, safety-first mindset
Intermediate computer skills; strong communication and problem-solving
Preferred
Polar field camp and/or polar cargo experience
Familiarity with remote power systems, generators, and flight support
HazMat Shipping Certification; ICS 100 & 200
Schedule & Pay
Seasonal: approximately late March–late August
Typical: 9 hours/day, 6 days/week; variable schedules possible (12 hours, split shifts, early/late, weekends)
$2,085–$2,450 per week
Health & Welfare benefit: $4.22/hour for the first 40 hours each week
