Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment or manual scrubbing pans.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to facilitate smooth service during busy hours and special events.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations related to cleaning procedures and food safety practices.
- Mopping and sweeping your area at closing, as well as breaking down boxes every night and taking out trash.
Skills
- Strong understanding of food service operations with experience in restaurant or hotel environments.
- Knowledge of kitchen cleaning techniques and food handling safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during high-volume service periods.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting culinary staff.
- Familiarity with catering setups and banquet service is desirable.
- Good physical stamina for standing long hours, lifting heavy items, and performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Must have reliable transportation- Including your own vehicle and license.
