Position Overview:
As a Video Editor at POLA Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in creating compelling visual content that enhances our clients' brand stories. You will be responsible for editing video footage, integrating sound and visual effects, and ensuring that the final product aligns with the brand's vision and goals. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong storytelling skills, and the ability to transform raw footage into engaging narratives. Who We Want:
Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field
2-5 years of experience in video editing and production
Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and After Effects
Strong storytelling skills with the ability to convey brand messages effectively
Excellent attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilities
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Knowledge of motion graphics, color grading, and sound editing
Strong organizational and time management skills
Key Responsibilities:
Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging content
Integrate sound, visual effects, graphics, and music to enhance video quality
Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling video concepts and storyboards
Ensure consistency and alignment with brand guidelines and messaging
Conduct quality checks and revisions based on feedback from clients and internal teams
Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging video editing techniques
Qualifications:
Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of video projects, including short films, commercials, social media content, and corporate videos
Ability to interpret creative briefs and turn them into compelling visual stories
Excellent understanding of video formats, codecs, and file management practices
Strong attention to detail with a critical eye for visual and audio quality
Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and creativity
Experience with advanced editing techniques, such as compositing, animation, and 3D rendering, is a plus
