Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory control, and cash handling.
- Lead and supervise team members, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and excellent customer service.
- Oversee employee orientation, onboarding, and ongoing training to promote a knowledgeable and engaged workforce.
- Conduct interviews and participate in recruiting efforts to build a strong team aligned with company standards.
- Manage sales floor activities such as merchandising, stocking, pricing, and promotional displays to maximize sales opportunities.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints efficiently, and ensure a positive shopping experience for all visitors.
- Support management in budgeting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and inventory management tasks to maintain operational efficiency.
Skills
- Proven experience in assistant management or supervisory roles within retail environments.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in multiple languages or bilingual abilities preferred.
- Proficiency in retail math, POS systems, cash handling, and store management software.
- Skilled in negotiation, customer service excellence, and conflict resolution.
- Knowledge of inventory control, merchandising strategies, pricing techniques, and sales management.
- Ability to multitask efficiently with strong organizational skills and time management capabilities.
- Experience with marketing initiatives, wireless sales (if applicable), and retail math is a plus.
