Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive guest services to ensure a positive dining experience
- Take orders accurately using POS systems
- Assist with food preparation, food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and quality
- Support servers by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and managing restaurant cleanliness to keep the dining area inviting
- Upsell menu items and promote specials using sales techniques like OpenTable reservations and upselling strategies to enhance revenue
- Manage time effectively during busy hours by prioritizing tasks such as serving, food prep, and customer inquiries
- Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including fine dining options, to answer guest questions confidently and provide excellent guest relations
