Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and freshness.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food preparation zones in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy during cashiering duties, including processing payments and giving correct change.
- Assist with food handling tasks such as bussing tables, stocking supplies, and ensuring quick turnaround times during busy hours.
- Support the team with basic math calculations for sales transactions, inventory counts, and food portioning to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential!
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety standards, and sanitation practices is highly valued.
