Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using a POS system.
- Prepare food items efficiently while adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
- Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and process payments with accuracy.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen spaces and ensuring proper sanitation.
- Assist with food handling, packaging, and serving orders promptly to ensure quick service delivery.
- Support team members in food preparation tasks, including basic cooking and ingredient assembly, while following safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or working in a quick service or fast food restaurant is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
- Ability to handle food safely, including proper food handling techniques and sanitation practices.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totaling.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
