Pointed Services is a growing full-service marketing agency headquartered in Palm Desert, CA, supporting clients across a variety of industries across the country. Our services include website design and development, social media, email marketing, SEO, digital advertising, CRM systems, automations, graphic design, print marketing, sales and overall marketing strategy.

We are looking for a versatile, AI competent, motivated marketing professional who can help us organize projects, execute a wide array of marketing responsibilities, think independently, solve problems, do everything with integrity and make our clients money!

About the Position

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, learns quickly, communicates confidently, and takes ownership of their work. Because we are a full-service agency, no two days are exactly the same.

You may communicate with clients, prepare marketing content, manage social media, assist with email campaigns, update a CRM, research solutions, convert leads into sales, and keep multiple projects moving forward.

We do not expect one person to be an expert in every area of marketing. We are looking for someone with a strong foundation, existing design skills (or at least a great design eye), excellent communication skills, good judgment, creative ideas, and the ability to quickly learn new platforms, services, and processes.

This position has the potential to grow as the employee demonstrates their strengths, builds trust with our team and clients, and takes ownership of additional responsibilities.

We are looking for someone who wants to become a valuable part of the agency, not simply complete a list of assigned tasks. Future raises and commission opportunities may be considered based on performance, growth, and the value the employee brings to the agency and its clients.

Experience Level

This is an early-career position designed for someone with a strong foundation in marketing, communication, and technology who is eager to continue learning and growing.

Applicants should have some relevant professional, internship, freelance, educational, and/or hands-on experience and be prepared to share examples of their work.

Potential Responsibilities

Depending on your experience and strengths, responsibilities may include:

• Communicating with clients and responding to requests
• Assisting with client onboarding and ongoing account management
• Keeping projects, tasks, deadlines, and follow-ups organized
• Writing and proofreading emails, social posts, blogs, and marketing materials
• Creating and scheduling social media content
• Copywriting!
• Creating designs, and/or reviewing and critiquing designs.
• Assisting with email and SMS campaigns
• Coordinating design, print, social media, and marketing projects
• Updating client information, opportunities, and workflows inside our CRM
• Researching marketing ideas, platforms, vendors, competitors, and solutions
• Helping review campaigns and reports
• Identifying opportunities to improve a client’s marketing
• Following up with leads and closing sales
• Communicating with vendors, contractors, and other team members
• Performing quality-control checks before work is sent to clients or published
• Learning new platforms and helping document processes
• Jumping into different tasks as priorities shift

AI Experience

Experience using AI as part of your everyday work is important.

We want someone who understands the power of AI and knows how to use it thoughtfully to:

• Save time and improve efficiency
• Research and troubleshoot solutions
• Brainstorm marketing ideas and campaign concepts
• Support a wide range of marketing tasks

AI should enhance your work, not replace your judgment, creativity, fact-checking, or attention to detail. The right person will know how to give AI clear direction, evaluate its output, make thoughtful revisions, and ensure the final work is accurate and appropriate for each client.

Advanced AI Skills such as Agent Building and complex task execution are very much valued, though not a pre-requisite.

Helpful Experience

Experience with any of the following is helpful, but candidates are not expected to know every platform:

• ChatGPT, Claude and other AI tools
• GoHighLevel or another CRM
• Canva or other design platforms
• Social media content creation, scheduling, and management
• Email and SMS marketing
• Project management platforms
• Marketing reporting and analytics
• Client communication or account coordination
• Sales support and lead follow-up

Location and Work Environment

Candidates must reside in the Coachella Valley.

Most work will be completed remotely. However, occasional in-person availability is required for client meetings, social media content creation, events, and other projects as needed.

Schedule

This is a part-time position requiring approximately three to six hours per day, five days per week. The position will typically range from 20 to 30 hours per week.

Scheduling is flexible, but the candidate must be consistently available each weekday and responsive during agreed-upon working hours.

Compensation

Compensation ranges from $25 to $30 per hour based on experience, skills, and the responsibilities the candidate can confidently take on.
