What you’ll do

• Design and architect AWS solutions that align with business objectives and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure successful implementation and integration of AWS solutions.
• Provide expert guidance on AWS best practices, including cost optimization, security, and performance tuning.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive architecture documentation, including diagrams, standards, and guidelines.
• Lead the evaluation and selection of AWS services and tools to enhance the cloud infrastructure.
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Conduct architectural reviews and ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior architects and engineers.
• Stay current with the latest AWS services, features, and industry trends.

What’s required

You should have extensive experience in designing and implementing AWS-based solutions, with a strong focus on scalability, security, and performance. Specifically, you should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• 7 years of experience in cloud architecture and design, with a focus on AWS.
• Strong expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• In-depth understanding of networking, security, and identity management in AWS.
• Proven track record of delivering complex AWS solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification required.
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards.

The annual base salary range for this role is $245,000-$290,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
