Position Summary:As a school speech-language pathologist, you will work with students withcommunication disorders or difficulties, providing assessment, diagnosis, and therapy servicesto help them improve their communication skills. You will collaborate with teachers, parents,and other professionals to create individualized treatment plans and support students inreaching their educational goals.
Responsibilities:
Assessment
Diagnosis
Treatment of communication disorders with evidence based best practices
Development of IEP goals and objectives
Progress monitoring
Data collection
Consultation and collaboration with other related service providers, teachers, and school team members
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited university with an M.A. or M.S. in communication disorders that is recognized by ASHA
ASHA CCC's or CF
State SLP License or in the process of applying for a License
Teaching certificate, or ability to obtain (if applicable)
