What You'll DoEvery day brings a new opportunity to perfect your craft. You'll:
- Process beef, pork, lamb, poultry, and other meats into customer-requested cuts.
- Trim, debone, and prepare meat with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Package and label products for retail sale and customer orders.
- Inspect products to ensure they meet company quality standards.
- Operate and maintain meat processing equipment safely.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines.
- Help manage inventory and minimize product waste.
- Work closely with your team to keep production running efficiently.
- Takes pride in producing quality work.
- Has experience using knives and meat processing equipment safely.
- Understands meat cuts and proper processing techniques.
- Values cleanliness, organization, and food safety.
- Works well independently and with a team.
- Has a strong work ethic and enjoys staying busy.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two (2) years of meat processing experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- ServSafe certification is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to pass a hair follicle drug and alcohol screening as a condition of employment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in refrigerated or frozen environments.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform repetitive cutting, trimming, and processing tasks.
