Job Overview
Pohlkat LLC is seeking a dependable and hardworking Laborer to join our growing team. This position involves performing a variety of physical labor tasks on industrial, commercial, and construction job sites. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, reliable, willing to work outdoors in varying conditions, and able to assist crews with remediation, site preparation, material handling, equipment operation, and general construction duties.
This role offers an opportunity to work on specialized projects while gaining hands-on experience in the construction and environmental services industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist crews with lime remediation, site cleanup, excavation, and general construction labor
- Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment
- Assist with setup and breakdown of job sites, including traffic control and containment areas
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small equipment safely and effectively
- Follow all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and site-specific procedures
- Support equipment operators, foremen, and supervisors with daily project tasks
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, vehicles, and equipment
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions and environments
Qualifications
- Prior construction, laborer, industrial cleaning, or remediation experience preferred but not required
- Comfortable working outdoors and in industrial or construction environments
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license preferred
