Key Responsibilities
Department Leadership: Hire, train, motivate, and mentor all parts counter associates and department staff. Establish schedules and enforce attendance policies.
Inventory & Purchasing: Oversee purchasing procedures, inventory control, and tracking of department expenses. Ensure incoming stock is placed accurately and inventory remains balanced.
Service Integration: Partner closely with the Service Manager to ensure parts are stocked or ordered promptly for all scheduled repairs.
Business Operations: Forecast department goals, manage retail and wholesale operations, set accurate pricing, and maintain up-to-date computer systems.
Customer & Vendor Relations: Handle wholesale and retail client relations, resolve customer complaints professionally, and manage OEM warranty, policy, and return procedures.
Compliance & Safety: Enforce safety regulations, carry out federal/state/local legal compliance, and champion Pohanka's core values.
Qualifications
Experience: 2 years of automotive parts management experience preferred.
Technical & Professional: Excellent customer service skills, strong organization, detail orientation, and a professional appearance.
Requirements: Must hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
