Project Engineer - Preconstruction

About the Position

Support the Preconstruction department with tasks associated with project pursuits.

• Review proposal specifications, drawings, attend pre-bid meetings, etc.
• Support Estimators and Lead Estimators with subcontractor outreach for specific projects.
• Support Estimators and Lead Estimators with quantified takeoffs from project documents.
• Perform site surveys and investigations.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field is preferred. Progressive construction estimating and/or field experience is desired.

Compensation Range:

$60,000 - $80,000

At Poettker Construction, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered.
