JOB SUMMARY
The Risk and Claims Specialist II is primarily responsible for but are not limited to oversight of casualty claims and assisting in the administration and placement of the corporate property and casualty insurance program. This position supports and assists the corporate enterprise-wide risk management program, including risk technologies and insurance support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintains and manages loss data in the loss management system.
• Conducts loss management system training and provides data support for various internal end users.
• Assists with acquiring or gathering data and/or supporting documents for claims and leadership requests.
• Organizes risk materials and operational policies/procedures in corporate share drive.
• Assists with gathering internal documentation for risk placed insurance renewals.
• Organizes risk placed insurance policies and uploads to third party system.
• Manages certificates of insurance (COI) program for customers and vendor partners.
• Acknowledge new losses, evaluate loss submissions for accuracy, provide a summary of the claim, analyze potential coverage issues, and identify claims issues through fact analysis and coordinate compensability to determine extent of company liability.
• Assist in the collection and dissemination of insurance underwriting information
• Support the Director of Risk Management in preparing insurance underwriting submissions to brokers
• Create and distribute certificates of insurance.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Job is not directly responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring/termination and/or pay decisions, performance management). This position may have mentoring responsibilities i.e. (temporary help, or part time employee).

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements
Education:
• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience
• 2 - 4 years of professional experience required
NOTE: This role is onsite at our Clearwater, FL headquarters with a 4/1 schedule; in office Monday-Thursday and remote on Fridays.
