Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical office help to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for: providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth flow of patient appointments. This role is crucial in creating a welcoming environment for patients while efficiently handling administrative tasks.
Duties
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage medical scheduling, including booking, confirming and rescheduling appointments and assisting doctor with patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all information is entered into the system properly.
- Handle incoming calls, addressing inquiries and directing them to the appropriate staff members.
- Utilize medical office management systems.
- Assist with billing inquiries and insurance verification processes.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized and stocked with necessary materials.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate efficient patient care.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Medical patient care or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical office patient care preferred, but no experience welcome.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
