Position Summary
PODER Academy Secondary is a small-school environment where teachers track individual students and tailor instruction accordingly. There is a heavy focus on classroom management where behavior disruptions are minimized. Seeking creative minds who enjoy supporting students’ academic and social/emotional needs.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or higher
Able to pass a background check
Passion and/or experience working with ages 5-12
Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus (not required)
Substitute License (required).
Responsibilities
Provide small group and individual instruction, conduct data review, extra sanitation, academic support, classroom coverage, & social/emotional support as needed.
Collaborate with team members to fulfill students’ academic & social/emotional needs
Be a self-motivated team player, ready to support needs of students, staff, and overall school
