Our charter school is seeking an energetic, organized, and innovative Food Service Coordinator to lead and manage our school nutrition program. We are looking for someone who is willing to put in the work to build and maintain a successful food service program while creating fresh, engaging, and student-centered ideas. This position requires a self-motivated individual who can manage daily operations while ensuring high standards of food safety, organization, and customer service.
Responsibilities Include:
- Planning and coordinating school meal services
- Ordering food and supplies
- Maintaining inventory and monitoring stock levels
- Managing billing and monthly invoices
- Ensuring proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of kitchen and serving areas
- Collaborating with administration on meal planning and budgeting
- Developing creative and innovative ideas to enhance the student dining experience
- Ensuring compliance with all local and state health regulations
Qualifications Preferred:
- Experience in food service, cafeteria management, or hospitality
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
