What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance/Kennel Technician position at Poconos Barking Lot?
Job Summary
We are looking for a dependable, hardworking person who can help with both property maintenance and daily kennel operations.
Responsibilities may include:
* Basic repairs and general maintenance
* Painting, mowing, weed eating and outdoor cleanup
* Pressure washing and facility upkeep
* Helping clean and sanitize kennels
* Feeding, watering and safely handling dogs
* Moving between different tasks as priorities change
Basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry or equipment experience is a plus, but reliability and a strong work ethic are most important.
You should be:
* Dependable and on time
* Comfortable working around dogs of all sizes
* Willing to clean and perform physical work
* Able to work independently and stay productive
* Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
* Equipped with reliable transportation to Sciota
Full-time or part-time availability may be considered. Weekend availability is a plus.
