Full Stack Developer and Technical Support Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a Tech Support Specialist and talented Full Stack Developer for our Website and general information infrastructure to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front-end and back-end development, with expertise in various programming languages and frameworks. This role requires a passion for building a high-quality product and a commitment to continuous improvement in software development practices. You will work collaboratively within an Agile environment, contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle as well as offering key input with hardware.

Duties

• Design, develop, and maintain new web product. Preference in JavaScript, PHP, Shopify-similar and other relevant technologies.
• Develop and maintain the current web product while working on the new product.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Build APIs and integrate third-party APIs into applications.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain version control using GitHub and other repositories.
• Write clean, maintainable code while adhering to best practices in software development.
• Implement IT infrastructure solutions on AWS as needed.
• Engage in front-end development using frameworks like Modx and Shopify-similar.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance application development.
• Soft skills- such as patience, and persistence with programming and working with others.

Requirements

• Proficiency in programming languages. Preference in Js and Php.
• Strong understanding of web development principles and experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS).
• Familiarity with database management systems like MySQL and SQL.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and application development frameworks.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
• Understanding of version control systems such as Git or SVN.
• Experience with Linux environments for deployment and application management.
• Familiarity with cloud services like AWS or Azure is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• This is a physical location job. Hardware, software, general tasks and functions are to be observed, and mastered. After time, growth and experience, remote work can be discussed.

We are a small-medium brand, that has experienced a lot of growth in recent years, we are updating our infrastructure.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
