What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Lead Teacher position at Pocono Services for Families and Children?
Lead Teacher for a preschool classroom for children ages 3-5 at our Mountain Center location in Tobyhanna, PA. Parent Engagement responsibilities are expected. The Lead Teacher plans, organizes, and implements classroom days and home visits and parent teacher conferences, for children and families. The Lead Teacher supervises assistants and volunteers in the classroom and is directly responsible to a classroom supervisor.
Required: bachelor’s degree in early childhood education along with 3 years of working experience in the early childhood education field.
Full time/full year with generous benefits including Health, Vision, dental, retirement, and paid time off including two weeks of vacation to start after completion of a 90-day provisional period. Salary is determined and dependent upon levels of experience and education. Pocono Services for Families and Children is an EOE employer.
