What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Assistant Teacher position at Pocono Services for Families and Children?
Immediate hiring for Preschool Assistant Teachers who are passionate about teaching and fostering children’s curiosity in our preschool classrooms (ages 3-5yrs) including Head Start. Looking for assistant teachers to support and assist a Lead Teacher in implementing appropriate curriculum, routines, classroom management for preschoolers, and social/emotional development at both our Mountain Center in Tobyhanna and our East Stroudsburg classroom locations. Required: minimum CDA or willingness to obtain a CDA within 2 years of hire. At least 2 years of experience with young children required. Full time/full year with generous benefits after a 90 provisional period including Health and Vision, dental, paid time off including two weeks of vacation to start.
