Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in residential or commercial settings, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests. This position requires a commitment to quality service, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned lodging accommodations and public areas, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Assist with cleaning and upkeep of the dining hall where possible.
- Assist with maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment issues.
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards.
- Report any issues identified in lodging accommodations and public areas while cleaning to housekeeping management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean efficiently and effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
